These ferns, resembling the antlers of deer or elk, are used to growing out of the sides of tree trunks, so you can hang them on your wall for some unique and lively wall art! Mount them by embedding the roots in a lump of peat, compost, moss, or any organic material and attaching that to your wall mount of choice with wire, over time it will grow more shield leaves and hide the fixture.
Keep your staghorn in indirect light or partial shade, as the fronds can burn. They also love moisture and humidity. Giving the roots a good soak and letting them dry between waterings will suffice, but an occasional misting will encourage it to grow.
